Start the New Year by treating yourself!

The turn of the New Year always brings lots of resolutions....and this year, I have been hearing a lot of people telling me that their biggest desire is to eat healthier. For some that means learning to make new recipes. For others, it includes making better choices when eating out....But, no matter what the goal, this is a great time to take action!

Would you like to:

  • Purge your pantry and make room for all the gluten free, casein free, 'other' free foods?

  • Have a personalized shopping trip to find new, delicious allergy free foods?

  • Find new recipes that you can make for your family and friends

  • Get an in-home cooking lesson to expand your repertoir of gluten free meals?

If the answer to any of these questions is a resounding 'yes', then your timing is perfect. As a special New Year's Gift to my loyal clients, I would like to offer 10% off your first session for 2008. Offer good through JANUARY ONLY!I'd love to hear from you and help make your resolutions come to life!

Happy, healthy eating.

Holiday Appetizers and Desserts

December 7, 2007

At this workshop, participants learned how to easily create delicious, nutritious and allergy free appetizers and desserts perfect for this holiday season. We made bison meatballs, red pepper hummus, and chicken drummettes. The kids especially loved the Gluten free (GF), casein-free, soy-free chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cake. All the recipes from this workshop are available for purchase in a convenient booklet for $8.00 (+S&H).

I'm also putting together a syllabus to teach gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free cooking at a local college and could use some input. For example, how much time needs to be spent on teaching nutrition basicsn before getting into the actual cooking?
